How to use this rubric

Score a piece of writing below, then put the rubric to work giving an LLM an objective bar to hit. Here's the flow we follow at Good Measure.

1. Score the work

Drag each slider to rate the work against the criteria. Hover the info icons to see what each one means, and add notes per section as you go. Your overall score and a shareable link update live.

2. Make it your own

The default criteria are a starting point. Hit Edit rubric to add sections and labels that capture what good actually looks like to you. A rubric is most useful when it encodes your taste and experience, not generic advice.

3. Prime the LLM

Before the model starts, hand it the rubric so it knows the bar. Hit Copy JSON, then prompt it with something like this:

4. Score and iterate

When the output comes back, score it here, copy the JSON again, and ask for a revision:

Two or three rounds usually gets there. If it keeps missing, that's a sign the rubric itself needs sharpening.
